Even physicists know today that information does not disappear once it enters a Black Hole, as was previously suggested. Famous physicist S. Hawking proposed that all matter swallowed by a Black Hole returns to the universe through Hawking Radiation.
Then, why on earth do some folks think they are anonymous on the internet? Why do they believe that once they throw their secrets into the interface of generative AI, all this information dissipates and vanishes after results are generated?

It’s a kind of Magic
Of course, part of the answer is the very intentional design of search engines, social media channels, and, lately, advanced chatbots. These hide their true functionality behind oversimplified interfaces, with no other distractions except the “Post” or “Send” button.
That way, they are tricking people that everything they have to do is enter the text and click the button, and there is a magic behind the curtain that solves everything.
Well, for most people, it certainly feels like a magic process, and they never overthink it.
Can you keep a secret?
The danger of revealing yourself and your secrets to the machine grows significantly if the machine is connected to a larger, or even worse, global network.
It is not only a question of keeping secrets, but misusing them in a way that we don’t normally think of.
Forget about the obvious things mentioned in a Snowden movie (like government spying on you). Focus on everything else, how they can use your secrets and data, and you certainly don’t want that.
Your fears are fuel for selling you products or services, you might not need, or they are simply placebos. Your fear fuels impulsive spending, aggressive comments, and engaging with certain content you might not notice normally.
A penny for your mind
A penny for your mind – an expression used when someone sees you daydream or focus on thoughts, and they are curiously asking, What are you thinking of?
For a long time, marketing agencies created an accurate picture of you based on your online activities and engagements.
This is level up. This is a step deeper into your personality. This is a part of the puzzle they couldn’t reach so easily, and now you opened it up. You’re telling them all your thoughts, like you talk to the yellow balloon.
Never forget that big corporations own chatbots. Do not expect them to help you with your mental health for no cost.
